Speakeasy

Description
Whilst in Kyoto, I realised a couple of friends I'd made in Asahikawa were also in Kyoto so we decided to go grab a drink together, it resulted in one of the greatest nights I've had whilst travelling. We found this small speakeasy and after chatting with the bartender and trying many different cocktails and home made alcohols we decided to get some light night Karaage, or Zengi if you're in Hokkaido! Finding our next destination shut we went to 7-11 to get food and drinks before going to a Karaoke Club and singing our hearts out until we were kicked out at 6AM in the Rain. This photo is both an ode to that night and that first drink that started the whole night, an old-fashioned. Shot on my Leica.
